Jamali Kamali situated in Mehrauli, south Delhi, Jamali Kamali mosque and tomb consists of two monuments close to each other. Jamali was a Sufi saint during the reign of Lodis. Jamali alias Sheikh Fazlullah was a great Sufi saint and also a famous poet. He came to Delhi on one of his journeys and remained there as a royal poet under the patronage of the Lodhi Empire. According to some historical information, it is also said that he was also a court poet of Babur and Humayun.

This mosque was built after the death of Sant Jamali. Each wall has been carved with beautiful styles and this memorial has also stood the test of time. It is said that it was built from 1528 to 1529. The exquisite artwork of the huge courtyard, archway and domes reflect the masterful architecture of the time. The sculptures carved inside the mosque, ornate on the windows and walls, clearly reflect the royal beauty and artistic tales of old history.
