Kaza - Spiti Valley  
Kaza is the regional headquarter of Spiti Valley in Lahaul & Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh in India. Kaza is located on the high altitude of [12500 feet] on the left of the bank of Spiti River famous for high altitude villages on cold dessert are Kiber, Langza, Komic. The largest township in Lahaul & Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh, Kaza boasts of high snow caped mountains crystal clear Spiti River, streams and barren splendor interspersed with patches of green. Kaza is the place in the world were a Tourist would want to fully peace & relax along with enjoy the stunning view and all-encompassing silence for hours. The remote village is home to the 14th century Tangyud Gompa, which is built beautifully in the form of an ancient fortified castle. While the famous Ki Monastery is only 12 km away from Kaza & Kibber (the highest motorable village in the world) is 07 km away.

Kibber - Spiti Valley
Kibber, is a small village in the Spiti Valley at an elevation of 4270 meters in Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and barren landscapes, Kibber claims to be the highest village with a motorable road. Kibber is known for its local monastery and the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. Its top of the height and pollution-free environment make it a perfect place for photographers & capture the natural beauty of the highest point. Kibber village to Kaza Town, this route was popular for salt trade in early time. Kibber have few home stay and Guest house, mountain people, extremely warm and hospitable. The Ladarcha Festival, held near Kibber in July every year, attracts lot of Buddhists from all over the world.

Langza - Spiti Valley
Langza, a small village also one of the highest villages in the world. Langza is known for two things that is fossils and the giant Buddha statue that overlooks the valley as if keeping an eye on it and protecting it from evil forces. Located on a meadow surrounded by the Himalayan mountain ranges, Langza is a beautiful village. There are lot of peoples had curious looking stones in their hands. These fossils in some way preserve the life from the time when these tall mountain peaks were actually a part of the sea. Tourists can see a wide range of endangered species from Tibet such as snow leopard, Himalayan gryphon, Tibetan wolf etc. in Langza village. Kaza: The Land of Highest Township - Spiti Valley

Komic Village - Spiti Valley
Komic Village is located at an high altitude of 4275 m, Komic villagers clamed that this is highest village in the world with a motorable road. Though the drive is a bit tough you will be amazed by the beauty of the Himalayas—green pastures and snow-covered peaks appear to be just a few steps away with the milky white clouds hanging above as a crown. You might also get to spot woolly hare, gazelle or ibex on the way. The first thing that gets noticed on entering the village is its monastery painted in beautiful bright colours. The gompa is said to be more than 500 years old and has a residential complex for the lamas. Distance from Kaza to Komic is 18 km.
 
Ki Monastery - Spiti Valley
Ki Monastery was founded in 13th century, Ki is the largest monastery in Spiti Valley. You can reach from Kaza to Ki only 14 km away. Ki Monastery prayer chamber is interconnected by dark passages, tortuous staircases and very small doors. Ki Monastery looks like Thiksey Monastery which is in Leh. Ki Monastery is the residence of about 300 Lamas which is high altitude 13,500 ft, it is built, like most Buddhist formations of the time, at an elevation from the village. Locals people claim that this monastery was built by Rinchen Tsangpo, a belief deceptively lent some credence by the fact that the Ki Gompa is now the seat of Lochen Tulku. Gompa belongs to the Gelugpa sect of Mahayana Buddhism. 

Travelling to Kaza - Spiti Valley
Tourists can reach Kaza from Manali and Shimla. The road from Shimla (via Rekongpeo) is in theory an all-season, while other way Manali road via Rohtang Pass and Kunzum pass is open in summer. Landslides on Manali to Kaza route so there is difficult to pass & might be face problem but the roadside view is very much pretty. I would like to suggest you travel to Kaza via Shimla - Reckongpeo - Kaza, but this route is quit far comparison to Manali route.
